The data is stored in individual feature classes within the Parcel_Data dataset. The data represents land parcel information and other associated data for the Parcel Data Development project for Chippewa County, Minnesota. The County consists of sixteen (16) civil townships that incorporate six (6) municipalities such as Clara City, a portion of Granite Falls, and Montevideo. The data was created based upon legal descriptions from the tax parcel database, legal deeds, and platted subdivisions; the known township, county, state and federal road rights of way; PLSS base information; and various other accessory data that was provided by Chippewa County. The data was validated and structured to a tolerance of 0.01 feet.
